Companies House email scam – Please be aware!
There are email scams that are circulating at the moment that are supposedly from Companies House. The email states the following:
“Investigations and Enforcement Services
This message has been auto-generated in response to the company complaint submitted to our WebFiling service.
The submission number is ID21201281NBDS29
Please find the attached document for your review.
Note: This email was sent from a notification-only email address which cannot accept incoming email. Please do not reply directly to this message.”
This is sent from noreply@companieshouses.com it has the Companies House logo and actual address an attachment that is a word document and when you open it we can only presume this will have a virus attached to it. Please be careful and do not open any emails from Companies House if you are unsure please contact the office 01623 420269.
