Latest News

Asylum ACES was founded in 2014 by Jack Plowman (pictured below) & Janice Plowman aiming to encourage the young people in the Nottinghamshire area to participate in extreme sport. Asylum currently has a 13,000sq ft indoor skatepark which has provided a positive impact to the local community. The skatepark has benefitted those who participate by keeping both adults and youngsters fit and active along with assisting to reduce obesity within the Nottinghamshire Area.

To keep the skatepark interesting they are moving to a larger premises and will be improving their facilities. As some of the riders are competing to represent Great Britain in the Olympics, Asylum also need to make sure that the new skatepark is challenging enough to train.

Sport England are supporting them with this project, but they also need an extra £40,000 raised to allow the project to be completed. If you would like to support Asylum please visit https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/asylum-aces-skatepark-relocation
