We were thrilled to see so many of our clients at our Summer Pizza Party earlier this month and thankfully after a wet start to the day the weather was kind and the sun was shining for an evening of pizza and fun. The Rustic Crust, did a fantastic job serving up wood fired pizzas and all that attended agreed they were “yummy” and would highly recommend their Pizza Van (details below).

Our games again were a big hit with the return of our darts competition and ‘Human Fruit Machine’. The darts winner with a score of 81 was Mick Burns from Kinetic ICT Solutions Ltd, we hope you enjoyed the Champagne Mick! A new game for 2016 was ‘Baby Face’ which involved guests matching up the team member against their baby photo, it proved quite a challenge and the winner, with 14 correct matches out of a possible 21 was Roger & Ellen Krishan from ACE ABC Taxis. Pictured below is Steve Doubtfire from Smarties Day Nursery looking delighted at being one of our first winners on the human fruit machine.

Thank you to everyone who took part in this year’s games we raised £150 for S.H.E UK which is not only a local charity but a Stopfords client. The charity offers a holistic range of support for survivors of childhood sexual abuse, exploitation and sexual violence. They also offer bespoke training and events for organisations and companies who would like to know more about these areas, in addition to training staff, expanding their knowledge base and showing them how to deal sensitively with this issue. If you would like more information on the great work that S.H.E UK do please visit their website on www.she-uk.org.uk

Thank you again to everyone who attended, we hope to see you all again next year!
